47% of recruiters said they would reject a candidate who had little knowledge about the company to which they’re applying.

Job interview statistics show that nearly 50% of the applicants wouldn’t get a job offer because they lack knowledge about the company to which they’re applying. Therefore, researching the company and the job you’re applying for is highly recommended.
Years ago, I asked a candidate what they liked about the brand "Dunkin Donuts," and they said, "I know that brand, great burgers," right? I mean, the product is in the title.
It was not very reassuring, and their resume looked great; however, it made me wonder if they did not take the interview seriously, how would they do their job? Thoughts?
